55Flash Fiction: Bricks under the road.

In the oldest part of the town is "The court square". Years ago before the modern convenience of asphalt, it was paved with beautiful red brick. Now the trucks that drive through town create a small hole in the asphalt where the beautiful brick can show us what we are missing with such modern conveniences.

Indeed! with all the modern gadgets the taste of the Natural and the antique is gone!~

Just cook a meal with ready made spices and freshly ground ones & one would know the difference!

Billy, I live in Flint Michigan, and our city is just like that!
What a shame!
But welcome to the club, you are most welcome, and thanks for contributing.

What a shame to cover up that beautiful red brick with asphalt. We still have cobbled streets around here and I just love them.

Great 55. :)

I would love to live in a city where the streets are brick or cobblestone!
