55Flash Fiction: Bricks under the road.

In the oldest part of the town is "The court square". Years ago before the modern convenience of asphalt, it was paved with beautiful red brick. Now the trucks that drive through town create a small hole in the asphalt where the beautiful brick can show us what we are missing with such modern conveniences.

Bee and waterdrops

After adding color to the flower, Heather (my wife), said I should add color to the bee. I also add color to some of the water drops.

Touch of color

When I looked at the flower straight on I noticed the star shape in the middle. I knew I wanted to accent it with its original color to make it really POP.
